Rehabilitation Admission Criteria
Our goal at St. Joseph Medical Center is to rehabilitate our patients so
they can return to their home setting with the ability to function as
independent as possible.
Admission to acute rehab is based on specific guidelines including your
particular illness or injury and how it has affected your ability to function.
While the majority of our rehabilitation clients are treated for one or
more of the following conditions, we welcome referrals for all diagnoses.

- Multiple trauma
- Hip fracture
- Brain injury
- Polyarthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis and possibly joint replacements
resulting from arthritic conditions
- Neurologic disorders
