At St. Joseph Medical Center, we work with you, your physician and other
healthcare professionals to provide a safe, comfortable environment for
infusion. Our outpatient infusion services may serve as an alternative
to hospitalization or as a means of decreasing the length of a hospital stay.
Our infusion clinic provides several types of infusion therapies including:
- Transfusion of blood products
- Chemotherapy and biotherapy
- IV antibiotics
- Hydration/supportive therapy
- Immune therapy
- Therapeutic phlebotomy
- Vascular access management
- Ostomy consults
- Infusions and injections to treat conditions including, but not limited
to, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Chron’s disease and anemia
Our staff of registered nurses are specially trained in infusion therapy
and are certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration through
the Oncology Nursing Society.
We collaborate with pharmacists who understand the complexities of delivering
IV pharmaceutical care.

We ask that you eat breakfast and take your morning medications before

seating for your loved ones. For your comfort, you may want to bring a
sweater or light jacket.
We are located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital easily accessed from
C Entrance; you may also come through the main entrance (B) where you can utilize our valet services and volunteers who will be happy
to assist you to our clinic.
