Some are associated with the complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders. Other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to heal these wounds.
At the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center at St. Joseph Medical Center, we utilize the latest advances in wound care to help our patients heal. The center has been designated as a Nationally Accredited Level I Center of Excellence with Distinction. This designation is awarded to less than 4 percent of all hyperbaric centers nationally.
The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center is designed to complement your physician’s services and is committed to the treatment of difficult, non-healing wounds. The center is made up of a team of professionals that includes:
- Physicians board-certified in hyperbaric medicine
- Nursing staff trained in the care of chronic wounds
- Technicians who perform non-invasive studies and
various therapies
