Discounts

As a volunteer, you receive a 15 percent discount at Café Josef. If you give five or more hours of service in a day, we will provide you with a meal ticket. You will also receive a meal ticket in honor of your birthday. You will also receive discounts on Well Life programs, in the pharmacy on items behind the counter and in the Gift Shop on non-sale gift items. Immunizations which are offered to employees are also provided free of charge to volunteers.

Recognition

Volunteers who serve in the adult program and provide 72 or more hours of service during the year are invited to attend a volunteer banquet given in their honor during Volunteer Week. During this week we celebrate the wonderful talents and gifts that volunteers provide with their services. You will also receive certificates and pins for service milestones. It is a time to celebrate you!

Special Acknowledgments

WAVE Awards (We Applaud Volunteer Excellence) recognize volunteers for exceptional or outstanding individual volunteer efforts throughout the year.

VIP (Volunteer Informational Programs) take place several times during the year as a way of thanking volunteers for their services.These may be informational or purely social events and are always enjoyable and worthwhile.
